My family is one of those families that you would call 'live to work ' kind of family. You see my family is different from others in Singapore. And that is because we are not from Singapore at all. my parents studied and grew up in India and They came to Singapore to find a job and to work. I am a Indian my self. Both my parents are working so they only come home to go to bed except on the weekends. If they have free time we would go out for dinner. that's it nothing more due to the lack of time.

Well as usual years passed we decided to do something out of the ordinary this Chinese new year. And so we decided to do something fun together.After much arguing and debating on where to go we finally decided to go to Lilliputt the miniature golf course. It was my idea as mini-golf is easy to play and no experience what so ever is needed. As Saturday came we left the house in the evening hoping to finally have some 'family time'.

We didn't have much difficulty finding the actual location as i had been there before for one of my friends birthdays. So I navigated as my father drove us there. As soon as we went in I realised they had renovated the place,i was not surprised as the last time I went there is was two years ago. Much had changed.

The receptionist brought us to this chart where we had to stand straight so that she could choose the best golf club for us. Once we chose the clerk told us the basic rules such as the fact that we had to play the last hole last as the ball would be returned to the reception once we finished that hole.

Once we started we were surprised at the miniature version of Singapore.Each hole had accurately depicted the sights and important features of Singapore. We got through each hole writing our scores on the score card. We were not serious at all about or scores. I was practically playing hockey as i just kept tapping the ball through the course. I would have failed every hole if i wrote the correct score but lets say if my score was 62 i would make it a 3.

Integrity can be exchanged for fun is whats i say if u claim i have no integrity for the golf score. besides I'm not in any kind of tournament right.We really had lots of fun that day,me my sister,and my parents. We made jokes and laughed throughout. It was the most fun we had in years. We told ourselves that we would go for such outings every week.
